In the week ending Jan. 3, one gas station in Tulare County sold regular gas at the lowest reported price of $3.39 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $4.13 per gallon for regular gas.
Among 222 gas stations in cities within Tulare County, 75 offered regular gas.
Across California, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas fell to $4.16, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
