Sequoia Union Elementary School District's schools enrolled 367 students in the 2022-23 school year, 4.4% less than the previous year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.7% of them were boys, and 46.3% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, making up 62.4% of the Sequoia Union Elementary School District's total enrollment.

Sequoia Union Elementary School District covers two schools within Tulare County with its main office in Lemon Cove.

Among the two schools in Sequoia Union Elementary School District, Sequoia Elementary Charter recorded the highest enrollment of 326 students in the 2022-23 school year.

In the last decade, enrollment in California elementary and secondary schools rose by at least 5%, while high school enrollment dropped 5%.

However, overall enrollment in California public schools is sliding, and the Public Policy Institute of California expects it to drop another 8% by the 2031-32 school year.
