The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has expressed gratitude for the public's support and concern regarding two horses found abandoned in a trailer in Traver. The horses, identified as a Bay Gelding and a Paint Mare, were removed from the property and examined by a veterinarian. They are reported to be in good condition and are now under the care of a local animal rescue organization.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, along with Tulare County Animal Control, is actively investigating the case. Individuals with information about the owners of the horses are encouraged to contact Agricultural Crimes Detective Steve Boertje or Sergeant Randy Gunderman at (559) 733-6218 or (559) 772-7107. Tips can also be submitted via the Tip Now Line at (559) 725-4194 or by email at tcso@tipnow.com.
