Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Estes Institute of Cosmetology Arts and Science

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Estes Institute of Cosmetology Arts and Science, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $16,500 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 50 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 10 students received grants or scholarships totaling $57,096 and 9 students took out student loans totaling more than $44,700.

Including all undergraduates (63), 41 students used grants or scholarships totaling $198,641, and 34 students took out $128,747 in federal student loans.
