1 professional license issued in Tulare during Q3 2019

One professional license was issued in Tulare during the third quarter of 2019, according to California’s Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA). In the previous quarter, there were three licenses issued, marking a 66.7 percent decrease quarter over quarter.

Three cities, Porterville, Visalia and Tulare, had the same number of professional licenses issued in the area with one each.

The DCA is composed of several agencies, bureaus, and commissions that influence business growth and job creation through regulation. The agency has roots that date back to 1876 when California passed the Medical Practice Act of 1876. Today the agency issues more than 280 license types including certificates, registrations, and permits.
