On Friday, Feb. 21, former Mt. Whitney High School standout Mike McKernan’s current college team, the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.

The game took place at Scolinos Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Broncos this season.

The Otters’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Scolinos Baseball Field against Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.
